  • Research shows that Patients who receive Counseling in addition to psychotropic medications have better outcomes than those who receive medication alone.
  • Our experienced team of Counselors and Psychologists work closely with HighPoint Psychiatry to deliver the most comprehensive and effective care possible.
  • We facilitate weekly Counseling sessions to promote healthy emotional functioning and enhance the quality of your Residents’ lives. You will have the same Provider, same day of the week, every week.
  • As your Partner in Care, we want to do everything we can to make your job a little easier. You can count on us to:
    1. Develop behavior management interventions to help reduce state-reportables
    2. Encourage active lifestyles and participation in activities of daily living
    3. Promote mobility by treating depression & anxiety related to fear of falling
    4. Assist your Residents with adjustment to Community Life
    5. Reduce transportation costs by providing services on-site

Evaluation Services

  • All Residents referred to HighPoint Counseling receive an Intake Evaluation to assess baseline psychological wellbeing. We document emotional symptoms, administer a cognitive exam, and provide an ICD-10 diagnosis.
  • HighPoint Clinicians thoroughly assess each Patient and render an appropriate diagnosis at the outset of treatment, which can justify the use of meds prescribed by other Providers.
  • Our Psychologists complete Expert Evaluations for guardianship at no extra charge. Expert Evaluations are integrated into HighPoint’s electronic systems, so you’ll have a completed report before our Psychologist leaves your building. We don’t even need a hardcopy of the form; it’ll print perfectly from your Provider’s tablet.

Crisis Management

  • Although we practice a proactive and preventative approach to behavioral health, we understand that unexpected crises happen. In those rare cases, HighPoint will manage the situation swiftly, compassionately, and effectively.
  • We believe the best partner is an available partner, so our Providers are easy to reach. When you call our phone number and select an extension, your call will be routed to the Provider’s cell phone. HighPoint is there for your Community 24/7.

Documentation

  • HighPoint Documentation is comprehensive, timely, and easy to understand. Our notes provide all the information required by State, while maintaining an easy-to-read format.
  • In order to ensure the highest quality of care, our providers verbally check in with your staff at the beginning and end of each shift, so you will always have a full understanding of your residents’ clinical picture.
  • You will have digital access to all notes within one week of the date-of-service. If you need a note sooner, your Provider can give you a hardcopy.
